This qualification is designed for individuals wishing to develop their professional consultancy abilities, and who will have the knowledge, skills and behaviours to drive consultancy activities in a senior capacity.
They will have the professionalism to deliver impact, behave ethically and demonstrate a commitment to continual learning and development.
This level of management consulting certification, which on an academic level is a RQF Level 7, is equal to a Master’s Degree, an Integrated Master’s Degree, a Postgraduate Diploma, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) and a Postgraduate Certificate.
Students can study at the Award, Certificate, Diploma and Extended Diploma Levels:
7A35 CMI Level 7 Award in Professional Consulting 603/5893/2 Learners must select at least one unit to a minimum of 70 TUT hours to achieve this qualification. The minimum GLH is 14 hours.
7C35 CMI Level 7 Certificate in Professional Consulting 603/5894/4 Learners must select at least two units to a minimum of 140 TUT hours to achieve this qualification. The minimum GLH is 34 hours.
7D35 CMI Level 7 Diploma in Professional Consulting 603/5895/6 Learners must select at least four units to a minimum of 370 TUT hours to achieve this qualification. The minimum GLH is 108 hours.
7XD35 CMI Level 7 Extended Diploma in Professional Consulting 603/5896/8 Learners must select all units to a minimum of 620 TUT hours to achieve this qualification. The minimum GLH is 190 hours.

Entry Requirements
- Ability to complete assignments at post-graduate level.
- Credibility as an existing or aspiring Management Consultant.
